The basic thrust of the Developing Cultural Competencies training program is to increase sensitivity and authenticity in workplace relationships. This workshop is designed to take an in-depth look at: The Multi-Cultural Workforce: Today’s vastly diverse workforce requires managers and employees to deal effectively with differences in values, beliefs, norms, languages, etc. The first step of getting the most value out of diversity is to acknowledge and become familiar with the myriad of dimensions in cultural differences that exist in our organizations and marketplaces.
- Obtain a better understanding of cross-cultural issues between diverse employee groups and customers and its’ personal impact and the impact on the health of the organization
- Explore their own understanding of hidden biases and prejudices
