Oftentimes, these initiatives begin with the premise that companies should engage in diversity and inclusion strategies to be successful, to thrive, and to maintain a competitive edge. Unfortunately, in many organizations buy in needs to take place earlier than this assumption as constituents wonder why they “should” invest in diversity and inclusion at all. This research-based presentation will enumerate the strategic rationale behind exactly why stereotypes thwart inclusion and ultimately hurt business.
