National Women’s Council

For centuries women have made countless contributions in the home and in recent decades have transitioned to be viable competitors in the marketplace, education, business and industry. Although women have crossed insurmountable barriers professionally, there remain major disparities in financial compensation, and inclusion in board representation.

The National Women’s Council (NWC) is under the umbrella of the National Diversity Council (NDC), a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization with Councils in 24 states. Established in 2011, the NWC works to make a significant impact on the social advancement of women by promoting economic empowerment, international women’s rights, political equality, workplace equality and women’s health.

The NWC advocates for CollectiveVoice™ to unite women and support campaigns that address key issues that positively affect women and directly impact their well-being. Membership in the NWC places organizations at the forefront of today’s emerging topics utilizing several innovative initiatives designed to assist women in harnessing the authority of emerging women leaders; championing guiding principles of professional women; integrating corporate leadership strategies and executing business best practices into their specific professional goals.
