National Women’s Council Expands Global Diversity with Inaugural Toronto Women in Leadership Symposium
Toronto, Ontario Canada – – The National Women’s council will host the Inaugural Toronto Women in Leadership Symposium on July 7, 2016 at Torys LLP. This event is designed to educate and create dialogue that contributes to the improvement of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. The theme of this symposium is “Securing Your Place at the Table.”
“We are thrilled to take our Women in Leadership Symposium to Canada this year,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder & CEO of the National Diversity Council. “Expanding our reach to new markets gives us the opportunity to acknowledge exceptional women for their professional success around the world.”
This half-day event will consist of a moderated panel discussion covering a variety of topics, such as “Finding & Owning Your Voice,” “The Courage to Lead,” and “Positioning Yourself for the Next Big Opportunity.” The scheduled list of panelists will include business professionals, entrepreneurs, non-profit organization representatives, and scholars.
Registration, breakfast, and networking will begin at 8:00 a.m. Following registration, the symposium will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Individual ticket cost is $79.00 CAD.
