National Diversity Council Announces Top 25 Companies for Diversity in Texas

The National Diversity Council is proud to announce the Top 25 Companies for Diversity in Texas based on women and minority representation in executive leadership and on boards of directors. These organizations will be recognized on April 19, 2017 at the 13th Annual Texas Diversity and Leadership Conference.

“I would like to commend the organizations who have made this prestigious listing,” said Dennis Kennedy, Founder and Chair of the National Diversity Council. “Although Texas still trails national diversity and inclusion norms, especially in positions of executive leadership, it is my hope that the examples these companies set will help move the state forward.”

Each of the 25 companies has been analyzed and compared against national, Texas, and local demographics in the recently released report “Workforce Diversity and Corporate Governance: A Quantitative Analysis of Diversity and Inclusion in Texas Fortune 1000 Companies”. The National Diversity Council utilized various resources such as census reports, corporate websites, internal contacts, and external diversity associations to gather and report accurate information.
