Lauren Ayles

Lauren Ayles currently serves as the Manager of Communications & Events for the Michigan Diversity Council. In this role, Lauren is responsible for conceiving of and managing logistics for the nonprofit’s learning sessions, signature events, fundraising and communications strategies. Additionally, as the only employee of the MIDC, Lauren oversees the majority of the organization’s administration.

Prior to holding this position, Lauren spent the past ten years developing a well-rounded career in production and event management including working with Michigan’s automotive corporations to produce Auto Show exhibits and managing corporate Community Relations efforts at Chrysler Financial. In addition to such corporate projects, Lauren has leant her skills to the production departments of numerous feature films, music videos, commercials and live events.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wayne State University and is also the recipient of a Video Production Certificate from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts.
