Tiffanie McDonald joined Cox Enterprises, Inc. in January 2019 leading enterprise diversity and inclusion strategy. In this capacity, she is responsible for providing strategic diversity and inclusion advice, practices, tools and resources essential in driving business results.
Prior to Cox, Tiffanie worked at USAA in San Antonio, Texas, for approximately nine years in a few key roles including leading the Business Control Management (risk and compliance) function in Operations as well as Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion and Affirmative Action.
Tiffanie also worked as Senior Director of Diversity and Industry Relations at Sysco Corporation in Houston, Texas. In this capacity, she was primarily responsible for developing the corporate diversity strategy and metrics, mentoring, diversity and college recruiting, supplier diversity, community outreach and industry relations.
Immediately preceding Sysco, Tiffanie was employed at Continental/United Airlines in various roles including Senior Labor Counsel and Director of Fair Employment Practices and Diversity. As Senior Labor Counsel, she was responsible for providing counsel and advice to Human Resources regarding employment and labor law related issues, contract compliance, drug and alcohol last chance agreements, union avoidance, union grievance adjustments and arbitration. As Director of Diversity and Fair Employment Practices, she was responsible for diversity, affirmative action programs, protected class and ethics investigations, FMLA compliance, accommodations and HR compliance.
In addition to her corporate human resources, diversity and inclusion and labor relations experience, Tiffanie also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Texas prosecuting criminal and juvenile justice cases after completing law school.
Tiffanie earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas and her B.A. from Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas. She is a licensed Texas attorney and certified Texas mediator.
