Pranika Uppal Sinha has been in training and development for over eight years and worked as an environmental engineer for five years before transitioning into the industry. She has consulted to various Fortune 500 companies and other organizations in the areas of diversity, leadership development, and change management.
For the past few years, Pranika has worked in the healthcare industry at Memorial Hermann. She is presently working in a position that is focused on both HR and organizational development and training. Her areas of expertise include leadership development, design and facilitation of education and training at all levels, team building, and employee satisfaction and work environment analysis.
Pranika serves on Memorial Hermannâ€™s diversity council. She has worked extensively on Memorial Hermannâ€™s strategic diversity business plan, re-developing online education for cultural awareness for all employees, and assisting departments in building cultural awareness. Pranika also contributes monthly diversity and inclusion pieces to the Memorial Hermann newsletter.
Pranika holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University in Environmental Engineering and an MBA from Rice University, Jones School of Business. In addition she is a member of Houston Organizational Development Network (HODN) HRHouston and SHRM. Pranika is an active member of the Texas Diversity Council. She volunteers for Rice University, India House Houston, and the Center for Asian Pacific American Women. Pranika received a DiversityFIRSTâ„¢award from the Texas Diversity Council in 2010 for her support of diversity and inclusion. Pranika resides in Houston, TX with her husband Samir and her daughters Revati and Anisa.
